Marco Pierre White is one of my fav chefs. Sure, the reason are many: he’s a rockstar chef, a tough cookie and all-round awesome cook with bells and whistles all agleam. And one more: Prior to cooking, he draws a scribble of how he wanted his dish to look. I found that very instructive and remember it when at work. That man is an artist. And artists inspire. No more. No less. Like salt.
I have been following his food column in The National and this is the one I tried.
Result: Awesome.
