Sometime: I dunno!
Another one of those experiments with rice. My discovery was rice made with stock, of course, tastes so much better. More calories, for sure. But then someone has to pander to the cliché: All the good things in life are either illegal, immoral or cooked in stock.
Serves 2
INGREDIENTS
Splash olive oil
1 cup basmati rice
1 cube beef stock
Salt to taste
HOW TO
Heat oil.
Fry rice till opaque.
Add water (rice:water; 1:2)
Bring to a boil.
Dissolve and stir around beef cube.
Season.
Cover pot.
Allow to cook on a super-low flame for 15-17 minutes.
